Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Senior Vice President is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of all marketing efforts. Additionally, collaborating across the organization and with internal and external strategy partners to develop effective strategies that enhance member engagement, demonstrate value of product/services and reach member audiences.

The Senior Vice President will serve as a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the financial services industry and a proven track record in developing successful marketing strategies. An engaging member of the senior management team, implementing strategies to achieve SMB's strategic business plan.

Qualifications

Master's degree highly desirable with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field of study and 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 of those in a leadership role, preferably within the financial service industry.

Excellent leadership and demonstrated ability and experience in strategic planning and execution.

Ability to lead and motivate teams and communicate at the highest levels, both written and verbally.

Must present a positive, professional image on behalf of the credit union as well present to the Board of Directors, Senior Management and all levels of the Credit Union.

Experienced in the organization and planning of public relations events.

Skilled in marketing, brand development/awareness, and member service.

Effective PC skills required.

Ability to travel on behalf of the credit union, as required.
