Job Description

We are seeking a strategically-minded Senior Email and Digital Channel professional with a passion for the development of integrated and automated email programs that establish long-lasting relationships with our customers and provide value for our business. This role will focus on defining strategy, campaign targeting and development of email and outbound programs, including reporting, QA, and campaign process management. The

Senior Email Marketer

will work with several cross-functional teams in the WFM marketing department to plan and execute email and outbound marketing programs.

This hybrid position is based in Austin, TX

and will require a minimum of three days per week in our downtown office.

ResponsibilitiesChannel lead for cross-functional partnerships with creative, copy, product, technology, legal, and analytics to help continuously improve and automate campaigns to support multiple lines of business.Manage and deploy reporting dashboards and data pivots giving all stakeholders a timelier view at digital marketing campaign performanceManage end-to-end email campaign production and execution, including campaign set up, list segmentation, deployment and reportingIdentify opportunity and develop email contact strategy for new, existing and inactive users that increase emailable baseDevelops email strategies to improve overall channel performance, including creative optimization, A/B split testing, and developing automated and triggered campaignsUse a test and learn approach to optimize program effectiveness, leverage reporting and analytics to analyze campaign performance and track campaign KPI'sLeads go-to-market acquisition and retention digital channel marketing strategiesRemain current and informed on industry trends, new offerings and interactive technologies.Builds working relationships with supported functional stakeholdersSkills

4-6+ years of email/digital marketing experience (using an advanced ESP/Email Service Provider like Epsilon, Responsys, or Exact Target a plus)Passion for email and outbound marketing, customer segmentation and data insightsSome experience with fundamental Email HTML coding (working within an existing HTML template and updating images, and content); Handlebars scripting a plus but not requiredStrong understanding of email best practices, i.e. CAN-SPAM laws, content creation, list management and targeting, knowledge of dynamic content and campaign automationIntegrates internal and external stakeholder information and perspective in task and project management.Maintains open communication among all task / project stakeholders, internal and external.Monitors outcomes and incorporates lessons learned into future task / project activity.Demonstrates understanding of industry, market, and company dynamics and business drivers.Demonstrates understanding of partner and competitor dynamics and business drivers.Able to draw connections between industry and segment-specific market trends and understand the WFM business implications.
