The VDC Coordinator is responsible for leading the developmentof a Building Information Model (BIM) for multi-disciplinaryprojects. As the primary point of contact for VDC on theproject, the VDC Coordinator interfaces with the entire team toensure alignment to the BIM Execution Plan. The VDC Coordinatorprovides the project team with necessary model collaboration,automation, and management support.

Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesCreates the BIM Execution Plan incollaboration with the Design Manager and DisciplineManagersManages model exchange between all partieswithin the company's governance on the projectEnsures any changes in building orientationand coordinates are captured with all internal and externalproject parties, regardless of authoring softwareCreates and maintains the ProjectNavisworks Federated Model for Clash Detection, ViewpointManagement, and Search Sets. Develops and applies clash reporttemplate, including clash batchesLeads the weekly Clash Detection meetings,dispositioning of all clashes and elevating non-resolved issuesto the Discipline Manager and Design Manager as needed forresolutionInitiates and maintains PDS creationsMaintains Project Requirement Instructionsfor project deliverablesPoint of Contact for all CADD and BIMrequest from internal and external clientsPerforms Quality Control review on draftingstandards for all published sheet files included asdeliverablesOther duties as assignedShow your expertise

Bachelor's degree in ConstructionManagement, Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technologyor related field preferred1+ years of experience as a designer2+ years of experience in a CAD/BIMposition at an AEC or Engineering consulting firmAdvanced user of AutoCAD, Revit andNavisworks Manage softwareAbility to guide multi-disciplinary teamsin the pursuits of solutions while encouraging creativity,innovation, and continuous improvementExceptional presentation skills forinternal and external customers
