Advantage Media and Forbes Books have an exciting opportunity for a talented intern to assist the Marketing & Media Services team in executing and managing activities, both corporate and member-driven, that help the organization meet strategic growth objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Media monitoring and news listeningUpdating and optimizing media platforms for optimal client positioningCollection and management of background materials and project assetsProvide support in documenting member feedback during revision rounds of deliverablesDrafting and publishing blog posts/articles to client websites in WordPressAssist teams with department reporting needs and communications on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisAssist with social media content capture and creationSupport coordination, logistics, and set-up for in-office client eventsAssist with general office administrative duties as necessaryCompetencies

Interest in media with an eye for trending newsFamiliarity with WordPress or similar content management system (CMS)Familiarity with MailChimp or a similar customer relationship management system (CRM)Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management system, highly encouragedUnderstanding of media best practicesExcellent communication skills with an eye for detailFamiliarity with creating engaging social media content a plusFamiliarity with SEO best practices a plusWork Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role regularly uses a laptop as well as online cloud-based file management systems (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) and participates in online video-based (Zoom, Google Meet) calls. This role may also have a direct phone line via Cytracom.Physical Demands
