Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is a children's mental health agency serving Central, Eastern and Northeastern Massachusetts. Wayside's mission is to "empower children, young adults and families to achieve greater independence and emotional well-being."

Wayside is a teaching and training facility that provides graduate and undergraduate students with internships in various disciplines including the clinical field.

The Marketing & Development Department is looking for a social media savvy intern to assist with the agency's platforms.

This is an unpaid internship.The intern will be responsible for writing engaging and creative content that appeals to the agency's various audiences, adhering to brand standards and guidelines as well as measuring performance, in collaboration with the Communications Manager.Managing Social Media content calendar/posts/campaign(s) for Wayside Youth & Family Support NetworkInclude Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter and any other appropriate sites over time.Posting 3-5 times a week, managing schedule of posts using Hootsuite, managing all highlights/stories for interaction/increase followers on all SM sites.Interface with program directors, staff as needed.Attend weekly meetings via Teams or Zoom.Connect with similar community providers, mental health organizations and foster relationships on SM.Create content customized for Wayside's audience with special attention to state mental health initiatives, local news related to human service agencies and a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.Other tasks as needed.
