Description
Seeking a CDL A driver for extended runs with home time in between. Must be able to be out for 2 weeks - 2+ month periods. This is not a full time year round position however it could become one for the right person.
This is specialty position that requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of people. Our driving team is professional and are a representation of the company. You will be often be the first or only individual our clients meet.
Drivers are expected to assist in managing and securing loads at both load in and load out of shows, assist with driving paths and determining best routes, communicate efficiently with all team members and management.
Semi trucks in operation are currently Peterbilt 579 and may be automatic or manual shift.
Most tours begin and end in the Nashville area.
Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
CDL A for 2+ yearsValid US passportAble to cross in and out of Canada legally (no DUI, criminal history, back taxes or child support, etc)Clean driving recordGreat attitude, able to work together in a collective environment when necessaryUpstanding, honest characterAbility to clearly read, write and understand EnglishPreferred, but not required:
Capable of using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, WordExperience with tour truckingBased in Nashville TN area
