We are hiring an

Application Engineer 3

to work in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position offers a hybrid/remote schedule. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

We are seeking Application Engineers to support multiple teams, below are requirements for each team:

API:

Our REST team provides middleware and backend support to all of our applicationsPrimary skills: Python, Django or FlaskSecondary skills: MongoDB or MariaDBDevOps:

Focused on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothlyPrimary skills: Ansible Pipeline; GitLab Pipeline, Linux, NiFiSecondary skills: AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience; Python scripting, Cloud Hosting and AutomationCustomer Support:

Primarily focuses on requirements gathering, tier 1 support, technical writing, help documentation, and internal testingPrimary skills: technical writing; ConfluenceSecondary skills: System Engineering/requirements gathering; JIRAUser Interface (UI):

Focuses on creating our single-page application websites and providing mockups for new ideasPrimary Skills: TypeScript; Angular; SCSSSecondary Skills: Balsamiq; MongoDBData Management:

The analytics team focuses on delivering reliable, accurate data to our end usersPrimary skills: PIG; Py-SparkSecondary skills: NiFi; PressureWaveData Pipeline:

Responsible for ensuring that our day-to-day operations are successful and that data arrives from A to B, both coming into our system and leaving to third partiesPrimary skills: NiFi; PressureWaveSecondary skills: Patch Management and IAVA tracking; Bash ScriptingIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:

All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.TS/SCI with a polygraphThemis Insight has all the PERKS!
