Job Title - Student Intern, Design ServicesLocation - Austin TX, Denver CO, Jackson MI, Minneapolis MN, and Muscatine IA.Job Type - OnsiteClick here for more about our - Stanley Consultants Internship ProgramStanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to join our Design Services Graphics group. Primarily functions as student intern to develop an understanding of using AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit or Civil 3D software to create and revise multi-discipline project drawings. Drawings produced by the student intern should be partially complete with minimal mistakes, requiring review and mark-up by the engineer or designer prior to completion. Fully developed marked-ups would be provided by the engineer or designer; the student intern would be expected to learn and utilize company or client symbols library, CAD standard, and templates in preparing the drawings.What You Will Be Doing:Develop basic understanding and general overall knowledge of electrical, mechanical, civil or structural drafting and designDevelop proficiency with company and client QA/QC proceduresCreate and revise drawing lists, index and cover sheet drawingsBack-check own work prior returning to engineer or designerPerform self-CAD Standards checks on electronic drawing filesPerform self-visual Drafting checks on printed drawing sheetsCoordinate drawing development with all disciplines involved with projectsComplete drawings from conceptual development, design phases, construction, to as-builtCreate PDF, print hard copies and scan drawingsPerforms other work-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:Enrolled in Associates degree or certification in CADD, drafting, engineering technology, or related fieldMicrosoft Excel knowledgeExcellent communication, collaboration and coordination skills with drafting, design and engineeringMust be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without requiring sponsorship

Base Compensation

: $19.00 - $22.00Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices.
