Mammoth provides our clients with advisory, compliance, program and project construction management services at the highest level of dedication.About the job:We are currently seeking two (2) GIS Analysts to join our team at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact the community. The position is part of the Master Planning & Development-Asset Management team, with a start date as soon as possible.Key responsibilities include collecting, verifying, and editing GIS data sets, designing and maintaining data sets using ESRI Geographic Information Systems Software, and providing technical support related to GIS data management. The role requires a minimum of three years of professional experience with ArcGIS and proficiency in related software. A bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience may be considered.The job duties and requirements:Collect, verify and edit GIS data sets to provide mapping services and technical research and analysis related to geographical data sets using software applicationsDesign, develop and maintain data sets by using current ESRI Geographic Information Systems Software (ArcGIS), related ArcGIS desktop applications and SQL server and oracle database platforms to present data visualizationAdminister geographic data development, verification, management and quality control/assuranceAid and provide technical support to staff in other government agencies related to the exchange of shared GIS dataDevelop sustainable systems of collecting and managing data pointsDevelop and maintain data layers to provide information on geographic featuresProvide GIS technical reports to stakeholders and responds to inquiries related to District GIS datasets and GIS issuesAttend meetings, conference, workshops and trainings to remain current on principles, practices and new developments related to GISCoordinate with appropriate city, county, state and federal agencies to obtain GIS spatial data sets and database.Performs other related tasks required.Salary Range:
