Job Summary:Join our team as a Graphic Designer, where your creativity will directly contribute to saving lives and impacting the community. At the Central California Blood Center (CCBC), your designs will be more than just visuals-they will inspire, inform, and engage a diverse audience, supporting our mission to provide life-saving blood products to over 1.9 million people in the Valley. You will produce compelling and innovative designs across a variety of mediums, including advertising, online media, logos, posters, brochures, packaging, and displays, ensuring that our brand resonates with the community we serve.

Creative Design:

Lead projects from concept to completion, leveraging your knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design to create impactful visuals that align with our brand identity.Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Marketing Supervisor and team members, contributing innovative ideas and ensuring that designs meet both creative and strategic goals.Brand Stewardship:

Create original graphics that accurately reflect and elevate the CCBC brand, maintaining consistency across all visual communications.Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality work on time.Problem Solving:

Approach design challenges with creativity and innovation, developing solutions that effectively communicate key messages.Production Expertise:

Understand and apply print production processes, ensuring that all designs are print-ready and meet technical specifications.Adaptability:

Be prepared to adjust your schedule when needed to meet project deadlines, including working overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary.What Else?

In addition to core design responsibilities, our Graphic Designer will also have the opportunity to contribute to various other marketing activities during downtime. This includes content creation for social media, assisting with website updates, developing marketing collateral, supporting brand development, and even participating in internal communications and event support. Whether it's editing videos, organizing our digital asset library, or helping with market research, you'll be a key player in our marketing department's success.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Proficient skills in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Detail-oriented and a quick learner.Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure of tight deadlines.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously & independently.Ability to travel to drives and CCBC facilities as necessary.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Design or a comparable combination of formal education and work experience.
