THE POSITION

As a Management Aide, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the management team by performing a wide variety of tasks in administration, fiscal services, property management and occupancy, including calculation of rents and interpreting and applying policies and procedures. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Management Aide, you will assist in a variety of entry level duties to develop knowledge and understanding of an assigned program area of the Schuylkill County Housing Authority. You will work under the supervision of an administrative superior who assigns projects, provides instructions, and reviews work for adherence to established standards and instruction. Also, you will interview applicants for public housing and assists in processing all necessary forms, collect rent and other money due the Housing Authority from residents, all while performing a wide variety of tasks. Additionally, you will verify income changes due to employment or family composition, prepare correspondence regarding issues related to the assigned development, and may utilize computer systems and specialized software.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Salary:

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One (1) year of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies;

orOne (1) year of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment;

orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
