Extensive experience in working within the commercial design industry and furniture specificationAbility to travel between Custer locations, Grand Rapids, Fort Wayne and Kalamazoo as neededExcellent communication skills, can articulate ideas clearlyCan confidently lead multiple large, complex projects independently and demonstrates a high level of professionalismAble to stay on task, manage several projects and timelines across multiple projects under strict deadlinesCan confidently engage with clients and present in a passionate, and professional mannerAble to create architectural drawings that clearly state design intentComfortable communicating with, and creating drawings for trades coordinationCan create furniture installation drawings and floor plansAble to identify opportunities that allow growth in project scope and\or overall businessHas exceptional accuracy in specification development and a high level of attention to detail across all areasStays ahead of trends based on market research in impactful industriesBasic knowledge of CET, high-level of proficiency preferredCan work comfortably and efficiently in a range of computer software: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Microsoft platforms and Adobe, OutlookHas or is committed to pursuing their NCIDQ certificationHigh level of business acumen and knowledge of professional practicesExperience/Education

Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Interior DesignMinimum 8+ years of contract design experience
