Lime Media is seeking a highly skilled Scenic Artist/Sculptor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating highly detailed and custom artwork, with additional expertise in sculpting, scenic builds, and mold making. This role requires an individual who can bring artistic visions to life through their technical skills and creativity.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visionary artistic capability to see the end result from raw materials, and then create it.Capable of working with his or her hands and various tools with 3-dimensional forms and materials including but not limited to clay, wood, fiberglass, acrylic, metal, plastic, foam, sand, and light to carve, mold, or assemble artistic creations.Creatively use mixed media and elements for displays, installations, and sculptures to build our clients' vision.Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Experience sculpting with varying materials and elements of extreme variance in size.Ability to interpret creative ideas and realistically sculpt and or build from highly abstract ideas without a lot of direction or written specifications.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Formal art education a plusExperience with sculpting and a portfolio required for considerationPhysical Requirements:
Ability to work varying hours, sometimes longer hours under tight deadlinesAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
*This is an in-office role, with normal 8-5 hours M-F
