Grant Writer

Questar III BOCES announces an exciting opportunity for a full time Grant Writer in our agency. This position will work with a variety of stakeholders and be responsible for the research, review, and preparation of grant proposals for funding to support our work. Applicants for the position should have a broad knowledge of how to seek out funding sources for educational initiatives, have strong interpersonal qualities, exceptional writing and research skills, be able to plan and organize effectively when dealing with multiple opportunities, as well as have a solid understanding of the financial aspects of grant development.

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum two years of successful grant writing experience required. Preferred candidates will have grant writing experience in an educational setting.

Estimated pay range: $89,000 - $119,000 (commensurate with experience)
