Summary:

The Marketing Department at Dixie Technical College is seeking a team member who has strong web design, advertisement layout and user experience skills, as well as an ability with graphic design principles and software, and a mind for marketing our hands-on programs to prospective students.

This position will have some interaction with faculty and staff and students around the school. With the majority of the time being spent updating the college website, building new webpages with the Divi wordpress page builder, and creating new digital advertising assets for social media and search marketing.

This is an on-site position. Dixie Technical College is a public technical college located on a state-of-the-art campus in St. George, Utah. The College has 29 Council on Occupational Education accredited programs that offer certifications in high-demand, high-pay professions.

This position will work 40 hours per week. Working hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The position includes a medical benefit for the employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Use the Divi builder within WordPress to design user-friendly, on-brand, visually appealing web pages and make updates to the college website. Some CSS and HTML knowledge will be needed.Ensure proper analytics connection between the college website and G4 and Meta.Create written and design content for paid social media posts and campaigns; digital advertisements; websites; and email campaigns.Design appropriately branded graphics to accompany the content described above.Help with marketing-related content development in coordination with staff, faculty, and students. Examples: Fill in for our social media and graphic design team when needed, assist our videographer and take photos.Create and update a report to track the success of campaigns and other marketing efforts. Make recommendations for future efforts based on the performance of campaigns.Compliance with Dixie Tech Policies and ProceduresOther duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:

2 + years experience in a communications/marketing role with direct responsibility for the work described in the Responsibilities section of this job postingAdobe Creative SuiteBachelor's degree or higher preferredExceptional writing skillsDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesExperience adapting marketing materials to match audience and platformAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities and produce timely resultsFamiliarity with Search Engine Optimization and Google Analytics 4 preferredFamiliarity with content management tools like Zoho, Hubspot, etc. preferredExperience producing User Generated Content preferredExperience setting up and running paid digital campaigns on any platform preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite applicationsAbility to communicate with students, staff, and colleagues; read academic texts and materials, student papers, etc.; operate personal computer and audio-visual equipment; stand or sit for up to one to three hours at a time; drive to off-site meetings or conferences or to observe student interns; move around campus for classes and meetings.The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
