Nationwide Student Employment Jobs (On Campus) Please read this entire description carefully. Essential Functions: Digital content creation and design for educational and marketing purposes. Digital advertisement and newsletter design or support. Continuous learning of digital marketing, education, and promotion research and best practices. Management and education of our personnel (faculty, staff, and other students) related to digital marketing. Using Microsoft OneDrive to store, organize, and share information and digital assets. Related projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper spelling and use of Standard English Grammar. Ability to take initiative and remain organized. Detail-oriented. Previous experience in digital communications is preferable (social media, email marketing, newsletter creation, ad design, etc.). Basic graphic design skills. Ability to utilize digital platforms such as social media and learning management tools (e.g., Zoho, Canvas, CRM database, Canva, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.). Ability to work remotely and utilize tools such as Zoom to participate in video meetings with team members and supervisor. Photoshop and/or advanced graphic design skills are a plus. Enthusiasm/knowledge of athletics, sport, coaching, or psychology is a plus. Students should be a good team player who will be friendly and collaborate well with our team, and get the job done with minimal guidance. Required Qualifications: Strong interests in digital design and content creation. Evidence of organizational skills and attention to detail. Prior work experience in an office setting. Experience with Microsoft Office Tools, especially OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Planner. Experience with digital creation tools (i.e., Adobe, Canva, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Copyediting training or experience. Experience working with digital media. Desire to learn more about digital media and shared decision-making. This is a remote position, with flexible hours. Training and support will be offered online to maintain flexibility with an option to come into the office as needed for training or support. We rarely have hard deadlines, but timeliness is important as we like to stay a couple weeks ahead and/or develop a plan to execute projects on a timely basis. Physical Activities: Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period. Benefits and Compensation: This position is only available for students eligible for a federal work-study , which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office. Do not apply for this position if you are not eligible or if you do not know your eligibility status. You must confirm eligibility status with the Financial Aid Office prior to applying. Students will be paid $18.50-19/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
