On-Campus Adjunct Faculty - Interior Design

Position Summary
This is an interest list posting for FCS 140: Introduction to Interior Design. This course provides students with a broad introduction to residential interior design. Specific topics include: the process and profession of design; the elements and principles of design; color theory; floor plans, housing, and building systems; architectural detail; furniture selection and arrangement; space planning; universal and sustainable design; lighting; interior finishes, window treatments, and accessories.
Additional responsibilities may include advising students.
Adjunct positions are contracted on a semester-by-semester basis.
This position is an interest list for future adjunct teaching opportunities.
Applications will be reviewed by the department periodically and all candidates will be notified by email if they are chosen to interview for a position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is advantageous.
