Must be willing to travel: This role is remote and requires occasional travel to any FreedomCare location nationally when necessary.

Department & Position Overview:

At FreedomCare we are committed to continuously developing our employees skills and supporting them in achieving their professional goals. The Learning Experience Designer will focus on creating best-in-class training to include: live remote and in-person training, and multimedia-rich asynchronous learning experiences that engage our employees and instill behavior change. The Instructional Designer will be a key thought partner as we develop content and build our training model from scratch.

We are looking for an experienced designer who can take a consultative approach with stakeholders to identify the root cause of a problem and design a solution that tackles it. The Learning Experience Designer we're looking for should be able to also develop any training necessary to assist a solution's measurable goal: courses, videos, audio, job aides, and instructor-led facilitator guides. The ideal candidate should feel confident being an instructor when needed as well. Because of this, we are looking for a seasoned ID who has worked through all phases of ADDIE in a business setting. While we would love to hire and grow less experienced candidates who are eager to show their value, we are in the early stages of building up an experienced Learning & Talent Development Team that can then support more junior roles in the future. Key responsibilities:Partner with stakeholder(s) and SME(s) to identify learning objectives, gather requirements, define outcomes, and establish success metricsConduct needs analysis to ensure training addresses business requirementsDesign (remote/live/blended/async) training solutions that meet business requirements and support adoption post launch - while considering ways to rapidly develop training to meet deadlines/deliverablesDevelop informative, visually appealing and engaging training assets (often with tight deadlines) to include: robust courses, infographics, videos, tech click-throughs, job aids, practice activities, live presentations, multi-day curriculums, workshops, facilitator guides, and assessmentsEvaluate the effectiveness of the training to identify areas of improvement during training and after launch using the appropriate Kirkpatrick Levels for evaluationCreate and update learning assets that support the retention, transfer, and application of knowledge and skills specific to roles, performance, culture, and outcomesBuild relationships with key stakeholders and solicit feedback on all training programs and materials to understand response and effectivenessWork with leaders and Learning & Development team to meet training delivery schedules, with appropriate resourcing that meet business needs

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

EducationEducation: Instructional Design BS or MS degree and/or formidable ID certification program

Qualifications3+ years of instructional design experience using adult learning principles and techniquesA portfolio highlighting work upon applying (and to discuss during the interview)Strong recent experience in multi-day curriculum development, e-learning development, and multimedia content creationExperience assessing learners skills and evaluating a training's effectiveness over time and being able to report on the effectiveness across the businessDevelopment: Experience with e-learning development tools (please reference tools you have advanced working knowledge of: Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, and specific multimedia programs in the Adobe Creative Suite or other)Strong Experience with SharepointExperience with multimedia development in audio and videoExperience working with an LMSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management, organization, and execution skillsWillingness to learn other roles to truly understand the business: to include speaking telephonically with our customers)

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
