Date Available:09/03/2024Job Summary:The communications coordinator is responsible, in collaboration with the District Superintendent, for providing oversight and maintaining the District's internal and external communication channels.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications or the equivalentDemonstrated understanding of media relations and marketingDemonstrated experience with social media and skill with working with the public.Working knowledge of technology including website editing and posting, G-Suite, Canva (or similar graphic design software) and other office technology.Ability to speak, write, read, and understand EnglishPosition requires travel within the communityFluency in a second language, preferred.

For full job description CLICK HERESalary:This is a 12 month position (260 work days) that has a potential non-traditional schedule with hours as early as 7 a.m. or late as 9 p.m. Typical schedule is 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Salary established by the Board of Education.

This position is paid on a salary basis and is exempt from overtime requirements under state and federal law. The salary constitutes full compensation for any and all hours worked during each workweek.
