Job Summary and Description

The technical director supervises all production aspects (scenery, lighting, sound, projections and special effects) related to the departmental productions. Responsible for coordinating schedules, mentoring staff and students work, ensuring the safe use of stage and shop equipment, monitoring expenses and maintaining all theatre spaces.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:Associate's degree or education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.Three years' experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree.Five years' experience.

Licenses and Certifications:Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable through the organization's insurers.Will at times be responsible for transportation of students. Incumbent will be supplied with ACDfuel card for related travel.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
