Purpose of the Position:The Graphic Design/Creative Services Intern will assist with any creative output the Reading Royas necessitate. Supporting your supervisor, you will use the brand guidelines to create designs for a range of touchpoints, including social media, email, signage, collateral and more. This position requires a strong grasp of graphic design principles, excellent communication skills and comfort working with deadline-conscious projects. The position is oriented toward recent or soon-to-be college graduates who are starting their professional journey in sports. As your internship progresses, I remain flexible by leaning on your strengths and open to suggestions to help you get as much out of this opportunity as possible. Office hours can be flexible to work with whatever you may need for class credit requirements. This position is un-paid with opportunity for payment as a game-night employee. A portfolio is required to be submitted with application.

Responsibilities:Become comfortable with the design aesthetic that changes season-to-season and produce graphics that seamlessly integrate with our department's needs.Work with sales department to help promote deals and new ticketing opportunities we offer.Assist with in-game entertainment and video production department during games.You are expected to "buy in" to everything we do, and treat it with sincerity, but also be willing to provide feedback to your supervisor in the instance you think something can be improved.Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:Expected to work all 36 home games or as many as possible.Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere. Lightroom and After Effects are a bonus.Strong attention to detail and high work standards.Must provide a design portfolio (PDF or link to online gallery) in order to be considered! Candidates who do not include this will not be considered for the role! Portfolio should include different examples of print and digital designs you have done. Photography and video is a bonus.Strong eye for photography and composition, as well as ability to touch up photos.Adaptability and Time ManagementExcellent Verbal Communication
