What does our Internship Program offer?
Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters, offers feedback and coaching, and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing one's full-time career to Key post college.
Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice
Marketing Overview
Enterprise Marketing encompasses the ability and passion to bring the KeyBank brand to life while supporting and enhancing Key's business goals across the various lines of business. We work to maintain a strong, consistent brand and develop marketing campaigns that are better connected to business goals.
We focus our core on speed & agility in marketing campaign execution that incorporates a cost efficiency that does not sacrifice effectiveness.
Included in Enterprise Marketing is our overall brand creation, development and effectiveness, sponsorships and activation, creative development, legal/compliance approvals and marketing analytics.
About the Motion Graphics Designer/Animator Internship
We're looking for an artist who can drive creative storytelling concepts through your passion for visual design and effective communication skills. Work on real marketing campaigns and initiatives to gain experience. Project and time management skills with attention to detail. Produce digital assets including banner ads, online videos, social media and more.

Curiosity: You're relentlessly inquisitive and establish yourself as a trusted, consultative partner to your teammates
Self-starter: You are ambitious, take the initiative, and successfully manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

QualificationsGraduating with a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2026 with focused coursework in motion graphicsOutstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)Project and time management skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activitiesBring solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skillsProficiency in Excel and PowerPointStrong understanding of the principles of visual and graphic designAdept at motion graphic design, design conventions and post-production processMust have strong aesthetic skills, creative problem-solving and interpreting brand guidelinesFamiliarity working with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere ProPassionate about evangelizing new technologies and eager to expand skill setAbility to communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment and juggle multiple priorities while still meeting pre-established deadlines
Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $20 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
KeyBank's Campus Program Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.
