Join our Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Reagents manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Scientist at Agilent Technologies. At Agilent Technologies, we are dedicated to advancing scientific discoveries that improve the quality of life.

Responsibilities:Manufacture and test Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation and target enrichment reagents.Analyze test results, including NGS sequencing results.Utilize instruments such as but not limited to Magnis, Tapestations, Spectrophotometers, Covaris, thermal cyclers, and QPCR instrumentsPrioritize in a quick-paced environment to meet customers' needs.Assist in validating new manufacturing processes, products, and regulatory standards.Support the introduction of new products and technologies to improve product quality.Formulate and test purified enzymes for quality assurance and NGS kit manufacturing.Collaborate with other teams on production and testing as needed.Maintain raw material stocks for manufacturing and quality control.Uphold 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.Identify and implement process improvements.Write, maintain, and review ISO-compliant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

QualificationsBS/BA in Biological Science or related field with experience in chemistry, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry.Minimum 1+ years meaningful experience.Proficiency in standard molecular biology laboratory techniques, including PCR and QPCR.Experience with enzymatic assays is a plus.Strong oral and written communication, organization, and digital literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel.
