Our major healthcare client is looking for an

Instructional Designer

to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week, 5 days/week onsite in Santa Clara, CA!

Job Summary:As an Instructional Designer, you will use adult instructional design principles and processes to support Abbott Vascular internal and external learning programs.

Responsibilities:- Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content- Working with subject matter experts to identify learner training needs and content.- Creating and maintaining a library of clinical case examples from video and presentation materials- Setting instructional end goals and creating content that matches them.- Visualizing and creating instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product- Analyzing and applying trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design- Creating exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.- Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, games etc.)- Devising modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.- Maintaining project documentation and course folders- Documenting standards and development process including testing and quality assurance.- Supporting and maintaining Professional Education curricula

Required Skills:- Minimum 2+ years of training/instructional design.- Experience utilizing these types of programs: iSpring Suite, PowerPoint, Articulate Rise and Adobe Creative Suite.- Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical device or healthcare
