Job Purpose
We are looking for an analytical Electro-Mechanical designer to create technical drawings for an extensive variety of machines and technical equipment in the energy system manufacturing industry. The Electro-Mechanical designer's responsibilities include working on drawings from inception to completion and collaborating with stakeholders during the process. To be successful as an Electro-Mechanical designer, you should be able to work closely with engineers and project managers, analyze feedback from the team to prepare or modify manufacturing systems technical documentation. A top-notch Electro-Mechanical designer will be an adept problem solver, have an excellent eye for design, and be willing to work in a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Working on CAD software to create mechanical drawing, electrical schematics and wiring harness drawings in line with needs and standards* Doing calculations on the prospective machinery prior to completing the technical drawings* Develop design documentation in accordance with company regulations and standards* Creating prototypes, testing them, and analyzing the results.* Submitting drawings to relevant stakeholders as well as production or construction teams.* Analyzing problems that may arise during the manufacturing process and recommending solutions.* Estimating cable routing length, best practice for cable routing in the equipment and making drawing for cable routings.
Qualifications
* Engineering Degree Required* Experience in computer-aided design software such as SOLDIWORKS and AutoCAD.* Experience in electrical schematic drawing* At least 4+ years of working experience.* An ability to create industry-specific products.* Top-notch verbal and written communication skills.* Strong problem-solving skills and an excellent understanding of mathematics.* Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to and embrace changes.
