POSITION PURPOSE

As a CAD Designer I, you will be an integral part of our engineering and design team, responsible for creating detailed drawings and technical specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts and ideas into accurate 2D and 3D models. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and a solid understanding of engineering principles and design standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESCreate accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers and architects.Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as assembly instructions, bills of materials, and part lists.Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards and specifications.Assist in identifying design issues and propose solutions during the design and development phase.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to improve efficiency and quality of designs.US Citizenship Required

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:Previous experience in CAD design or drafting in an engineering or architectural firm is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D drafting techniques.Basic knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
