We are looking for a key player who will be instrumental in moving the company to the next level by building new relationships, expanding existing relationships, and creating brand awareness/visibility throughout the pharmaceutical industry.
Essential Functions
:Provide leadership, strategic direction, and motivation for long-term growth of the Retail and Corporate Sales Groups.Demonstrate experience in managing a sales team to encourage growth and the development of leadership qualities of key employees in the organization.Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.Demonstrate experience in formulating and implementing sales strategies utilizing strong analytical and forecasting skills.Build and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing vendors to expand product offerings, while ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with both vendors and customers, including expansion into new markets and customer segments.
Minimum Qualifications
:Pharmaceutical industry sales experience required.Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry including excellent relationships with generic manufacturers.Previous experience with a demonstrated track record of success in a senior sales role required.Proven success in leading high-performance teams, achieving results and being a strong team player.Emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and superb critical thinking and communication skills.Exceptional leadership and people management skills.Excellent business analysis acumen and data driven thinking and decisions making.Bachelor's degree preferred.
