This position provides support to the circulation desk at the library.
* Aid with charging and discharging material on library computer systems.* Shelves, retrieves, and organizes stack material.* Supports library staff in the maintenance of all collections.* Assists patron by phone or in person with general information and questions relating to location of resources and equipment.* Assists patron with using equipment in the library including scanners, computers and printers.* Refers patron to librarians for research assistance.* Performs related duties as assigned.
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIRED
* Good communication skills* Some proficiency in Microsoft Word* Library experience preferred, but not required
