Job Summary
Provide stimulating learning experiences and direct instruction in a core subject area to ensure academic success and to motivate students according to their individualized learning plan; develop activities to promote learning; perform administrative duties to ensure compliance with school attendance policies and course completion; participate in collaboration with other team members; and perform other duties to support the school's mission and vision.This position is up to 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule depending on students needs. Must be available M-F during normal business hours however most students will require support in the afternoons and evenings. This position will have the potential for full-time employment.
Requirements / Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
A valid, current, and appropriate California state teaching credential. Must have single subject science credential and authorization to teach English learners.
A copy of the credential must be provided at the time of application and kept current for the duration of the assignment.
Hold and maintain a valid California Driver's License; proof of automobile insurance; and full time use of a dependable automobile that is insured pursuant to California regulations.
