PRIMARY PURPOSE:Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree; andHave two-years of full-time wage-earning experience in one or more of the marketing occupations as required by certification (Statement of Qualification Form (SOQ) through an alternative certification program); orValid Texas Marketing or Business Certificate; andDemonstrated competency in the subject area assigned.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of career and technical education subject assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Two or more years of wage-earning experience in the area of certification
