SCHEDULE: 2024 - 2025 School Year

SALARY: Based on the 2024 - 2025 Teacher Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

*Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate

*K-12 Library Media or Learning Resource endorsement or National Board in Library Media

*Minimum of Bachelor's Degree

*Working knowledge of Technology Media Presentation Skills

*Strong background in literature

*Willingness to teach literacy skills classes

*Willingness to teach classes on various topics

QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)

*Background in technology and computer sciences

*Bilingual/Biliterate in English/Spanish

*Previous classroom teaching experience

General Description and Responsibilities:

1. Provide support for building technology plan and curriculum

2. Responsible for coordinating with teachers and staff to implement plan

3. Provide leadership in promoting the library as a technology center

4. Establish efforts to increase the curriculum of books and enthusiasm for reading
