The Communications Coordinator will work to strengthen the connection between World Relief Triad and its volunteers, donors, church partners, and the wider community through managing its web presence, social media, newsletters, and communication platforms. This position will create communications and marketing content, cultivate stories of impact, and inform, educate, and empower the community to advocate on behalf of refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations.

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesFluent in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, Outlook and AccessProficiency in social media platforms, photo/video editing, and website design.Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a fast paced and fluid environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated knowledge of web and social media developmentCross-cultural experience preferred

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations

• Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• General office setting. World Relief also offers hybrid and remote schedules for limited positions.

• Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in virtual meetings may be required.

• Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending.
