Arcadis is currently seeking a self-motivated Senior Hydraulics Design Project Manager to join our National Hydraulics Group in the Atlanta, GA, Baton Rouge, LA, or Metairie, LA offices.

Role description:

Arcadis' Hydraulics Group delivers "best in class" technical and innovative solutions to our clients on the design, delivery, and management of these critical structural resources to our State, municipal, and design-build clients. In this position, you will assist the engineering staff in the development of plans and quantities for LADOTD and local municipalities as well as the opportunity to work on projects of varying degrees of difficulty across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic region. You will also have the opportunity to lead design teams as the project manager on design-bid-build projects and Stage 0 feasibility studies.

Role Accountabilities :Actively engage Arcadis staff to assess, develop, and align service offerings to be a leader for Hydrological services in Louisiana.Assist design teams in identifying and capturing opportunities (services, clients, projects)Day-to-day operations and overall resource management of the group along with overall financial health of the group including financial billability, multiplier, and ultimately contribution marginIn-depth understanding of Bridge Hydraulics Analysis to oversee and actively manage the Quality Assurance Program for the Louisiana Hydraulics GroupOversee stormwater design project teams to include open channel conveyance and closed drainage systems and stormwater treatment using appropriate BMPs suitable for the linear nature of transportation projects (MS4 Water Quality).Coordinate the overall strategic direction of the group and align resources to be "best in class" in the Louisiana market and services to meet existing and future growth, goals, and objectivesEstablish strategic market position/service offerings for the group to align with client needs and Arcadis' strategic focus while growing the business to achieve 50 percent growth in 3 years to align with the overall strategy, goals, and objectivesActively lead Hydraulics capture planning (pursuits) and have Go/No-Go authority on Hydraulics pursuits for Operations in conjunction with client developmentUse of various software platforms including Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, Pond Pack, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY8, ICPR, SWMM, SMS, SRH2D, and HEC-RAS 2D. Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects,

Additional Role Accountabilities:Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects,Demonstrated ability to contribute information to meetings, assist with effective client presentations and prepare written reports and meeting minutes.Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development:

Ability to lead and manage all phases of a projectDevelop opportunity leads, project teams and coordination with the Infrastructure Client Development team to capture strategic projectsDevelop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters, and development of project plans and schedules

Interpersonal and client facing requirements will require someone with excellent, clear and concise, oral and written communication skills

Required Qualifications :Minimum 10 years of experienceBachelor's degree in civil engineeringLouisiana Professional EngineerDemonstrated experience with LADOTD and within the Louisiana market sectorDemonstrated client development and client management skills in Louisiana.

Preferred Qualifications :Minimum 15 years of experienceMaster's in civil engineeringDesign experience in other surrounding states such as FL, TX, MS, ALDesign Build experienceExperience with FEMA hydraulic modeling and FEMA hydraulic studies

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $16,000.
