Position Overview:

As an AV Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of AV projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage resources, and ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV technology, project management, and client relations, with a passion for delivering exceptional AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and design teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules based on client requirements and specifications.

Create detailed project plans, Gantt charts, and work breakdown structures to outline project milestones, tasks, and dependencies.

Resource Management:

Identify project resource requirements (e.g., personnel, equipment, materials) and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to allocate resources effectively.

Manage project budgets, expenses, and procurement activities to ensure cost control and profitability.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and objectives are understood and met.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead project teams, including technicians, installers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing guidance, direction, and support to achieve project goals.

Conduct regular project meetings, site visits, and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality AV systems that meet or exceed client expectations.

Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize project delays and disruptions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification is preferred.

3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on audiovisual (AV) technology projects.

Strong knowledge of AV systems, equipment, and technologies, including audio, video, control systems, and integration.

Proven track record of successfully managing AV projects from conception to completion, meeting project objectives and client expectations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
