System One is currently seeking a Technical Writer for a
contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities:
+ Interpret aircraft engineering blueprints and other aviation technical documents to write, aircraft work instructions enabling structural, electrical, avionics, and general maintenance technicians to perform aircraft maintenance, modifications, repairs, and overhaul. Written instructions may include requirements for parts fabrication, as well as required support and test equipment, tooling, materials, and labor budgets.
+ The planner/writer leads sessions to gain stakeholder approvals of Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customers.
+ Additional responsibilities include incorporation of approved changes from stakeholders and referenced technical data.
Qualifications:
+ Experience in the aviation/aircraft maintenance field required
+ Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
+ Process planning experience
+ Ability to write technical documents and end-user documentation
+ Experience writing technical orders, work instructions, and aircraft work documents
+ Project planning experience
+ Solumina experience preferred
