Adjunct Pool - Video/Film Production

Description Husson University's New England School of Communications is looking for part-timeadjunct faculty members to teach Video Production courses. These coursesintroduce students to the world of video and digital filmmaking. Students learn thebasic skills needed to create high end, broadcast quality video, including shooting,non-linear editing, gathering professional audio, continuity, composition, andworkflow management.Examples of Duties • Provide students proper instruction with content to achieve programmatic outcomesin the various courses to be taught.• Assign and oversee multiple field and post productions at an introductory level• Accurately track and assess student progress and maintain Husson Universitystandards• Advising the Academic Director on proposed curricular changes• Assisting the department in experiential assessments & exercises whereappropriate• Assist in the research and assessment of industry trends and future technologiesconcerning curriculum• Additional Responsibilities:o Gathering data and preparing detailed documentso Representing the School off campus when appropriateo Serving on committees, as appropriateo Performing other duties as assigned by the administrationTypical Qualifications Education:Masters Degree Required; Ph.D., MFA, or other terminal degree preferred.Experience:At least 1-3 years of work experience in related field.College level teaching experience preferred.
