The Photographer executes high-quality product, lifestyle, and event photography that meets the needs of the marketing team, upholds and elevates brand standards, and satisfies business objectives. The Photographer will collaborate with in-house creative teams to align on photographic direction that maintains brand continuity throughout product imagery.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:Takes high quality photos that meet the needs of Marketing, Sales, and external vendorsPhotographs products in environments and on-white, for website creative, social, sales brochures, catalog spreads and other marketing initiativesCollaborates with the Art Director and other team members to plan shot list, maintains the pace of the outlined shooting schedule, and identifies any needed adjustments to the scheduleWorks with management and stylists to map out and build tabletop and background set piecesConfigures the lighting of the set to match the creative vision and/or technical guidelines for each projectDraws from a variety of lighting techniques to create compelling images, whether using artificial or natural lightAccurately performs color correction on images under defined and standardized conditions; able to perform all post production editing on photosPhotographs corporate events or portraits as neededStrictly follows technical image standards for file management, composition, color consistency, focus, lighting, and metadata taggingPerforms other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper managementUtilizes professional camera and lighting equipmentUtilizes computer imaging software to process photographs and share albums for selections and feedbackEnsures final images are imported, organized, cataloged, and exported into a shared environmentContacts and communicates with product managers and outside vendors to identify viable locations for photographyDetermines lighting requirements, composition, background, props and product set up as well as any additional specifications to ensure quality imagesStyles and sets up shots when no stylist is availableMaintains photo equipment and recommends replacement equipment as needed

Qualifications:5+ years commercial photography experience, including significant experience photographing productSocial media product photography and lifestyle photography experience preferredAdvertising, fashion, event, or catalog photography experience a plusExpert knowledge of cameras, lighting, and other commercial photo studio tools and equipmentExpert level knowledge of Capture One/Lightroom software and tethered-shooting workflowsSolid understanding of retouching and image processing techniques in Adobe PhotoshopExpert level knowledge of RAW image processingProficiency with Mac OSA keen aesthetic derived from traditional education or training in the visual artsExcellent written and oral communicationExtreme attention to detailAbility to occasionally work overtime and be flexible with work schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, in response to the production schedule and company needsAbility to travel occasionallyA photography portfolio that demonstrates command of digital photography, lighting, composition, and aesthetics is required
