Description
Job Title: Community Manager with Section 8 Experience
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager with Section 8 experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD and experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with EIV.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property
- Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and files related to Section 8 housing
- Process and transmit vouchers through TRACS
- Conduct annual and interim recertifications for residents
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all reports and paperwork
- Monitor and manage property budget
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Community Manager with Section 8 experience
- Strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD
- Experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS
- Knowledge of EIV
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
