Job Description
KIPP Miami is looking for a
Temporary
Elementary Art
Teacher
looking to gain teaching experience in a school setting and willing to take on a temporary full-time contract through October 2024.
This role would require teaching students grades K-4 on a weekly basis. You would see each class once a week over the course of the entire school year. This role requires strong classroom management, relationship building, content knowledge and an ability to bring joy and fun into the classroom.
Qualifications
Must Haves:A belief in every student's limitless potentialA Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required(Official transcripts showing degree conferred are required prior to the starting date of employment)Appropriate state teaching certification completed and issued or in process of being completedSubject matter expertiseA minimum of two years of teaching experience, with demonstrated interest in working with students from diverse economic and cultural backgroundsA track record of success in the classroomA collaborative attitude towards teaching and learning
