National Director, Employee Benefits Communications is a strategic leader for attracting and retaining clients through employee benefit communications deliverables. Embodies The Baldwin Group brand experience for clients with a consultative approach to client needs and solutions that includes strategy, oversight, development, and execution of innovative, expertly crafted communications. Leads and develops branded messaging and multi-channel communications for clients' employees based on an overall strategic approach to supplying benefits and wellness.

The Associate Director is also a propagator of The Baldwin Group IAS brand experience, both internally and externally. Oversees and maintains branding integrity. Provides ongoing consulting and training to IAS colleagues. Leads with innovative ideas for colleague experience, and marketing and event support.

Job Requirements:Lead the internal communications voice and execution strategies to ensure transparency and clarity in all we do.Lead the brand experience through leading and developing employee benefit communications deliverables for our clients.Collaborate closely with leaders and lead Communications team in developing policies, processes, best practices, and new deliverables for Employee Benefits CommunicationsSupport sales and client retention by ensuring consistently exceptional communications are provided to clientsEnsure that self and team members continually develop fresh, creative approaches to client benefit communicationsBuild brand reputation externally and excitement internally utilizing recognition through industry/employer/brand/community awardsLead internal initiatives as neededConsult and collaborate with colleagues and clients on client communicationsManage client benefit communications development and implementationAccurately interpret and execute client brands in employee benefit communicationsDevelop new deliverables and consistently provide clients with fresh, creative approaches to employee benefit communicationsDevelop content; edit and proofread work

Required QualificationsUndergraduate/Bachelor's Degree or years of equivalent experience5+ years of Insurance Industry experience working in communicationsProven experience in leading employee benefit communicationsExperienced or knowledgeable in the insurance or financial services industry and emerging trends.Ability to inspire and lead a teamStrong collaborative skillsAn exceptional writer, editor, and verbal communicator.Skilled at presenting, storytelling and networking.Comfortable interacting with all levels of BRP colleagues and providing counsel with confidence and ease.A resourceful self-starter who is detail-oriented comfortable taking ownership of high visibility, multi-faceted communications projects with ambiguity and moving targets.A big-picture thinker who quickly understands how various initiatives fit into a larger strategy.An analytical thinker who can quickly evolve campaigns to achieve industry-leading results.Able to maintain the efficacy of initiatives in an environment with rapid change and several high impact initiatives to move forward in tandem.A leader with proven ability to motivate and influence across all levels of the organization.Passionate about working in an environment driven by creativity, collaboration, innovation, and fun!
