We are seeking a VP Marketing to join our team in the non-profit industry located in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will undertake various strategic marketing and public relations initiatives, work closely with the development team, and manage crisis communications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans, including during holidays and special campaigns
- Collaborate closely with the development team to communicate the need for donations and fundraising
- Utilize social media platforms strategically to boost brand awareness and engagement
- Handle public relations tasks and manage the organization's image
- Take charge in crisis situations, ensuring prompt and effective communication
- Oversee budget processes and campaign planning to ensure optimal use of resources
Requirements
+ 10+ years of marketing and communications experience
+
5+ years of leadership experience in a marketing role
+ Public relations experience
+ Local to Austin and willing to come onsite at least 3 days/week
