Summary

The Video Editor and Motion Graphics Coordinator is a full-time position, who reports to the Marketing Director. This position will serve as the Hooks primary video creator for in-stadium, online and TV.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Produce, shoot, and edit Hooks video projects including:

TV & web commercialsPlayer featuresHighlight packagesPromotional/marketing videosPump-up videos

Create graphics for in-stadium video board including:

HeadshotsSponsor graphicsFan prompts

MARKETING

Collaborate with marketing team on creative ideas and promotionsAssist with creation of social media graphicsMaintain and organize Hooks video archive

MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES

Assist with both game & non-game eventsParticipate in tarp dutiesOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field of equivalent and related work experienceAt least 1+ years of related experience with a professional sports team preferredMust be proficient in Final Cut Pro X/Adobe PremiereMust be proficient in After EffectsExperience in graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator) is a plusProfessional experience in a creative settingMust possess an excellent design senseBilingual (Spanish) skills are a plusDetail oriented and deadline drivenKnowledge of baseball and pop cultureDesire to stay updated on current video trendsAbility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidaysOverall positive attitude and outlook

Work Environment

Position will work in an office and stadium environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with adjusted schedule in alignment with games. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holidays. This includes attendance at all home baseball games and special events.

Travel

Limited travel may be expected for this position.
