We are excited to share a new opportunity for a skilled Designer/Drafter. Our client is a leading Southern California foodservice design and equipment company dedicated to meeting the unique needs of its clients through the careful integration of purpose, function, sustainability, value and aesthetics. They are seeking a talented Drafter to join their commercial kitchen design team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, deep knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and a strong understanding of commercial kitchen design principles. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans that translate design concepts into functional layouts.
Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with designers and architects to develop detailed CAD drawings and plans for commercial kitchen projects. Interpret design specifications and incorporate them into technical drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and local building codes. Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of drawings.Skills Required:Associate's degree or equivalent in drafting, architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software. Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen design and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
