Job description

Position Title : Designer Drafter

Job Summary :We are seeking a skilled Designer Drafter to join our team for a one-year contract, with the potential for extension based on new projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and updating mechanical and electrical drawings, reviewing transmittals, and ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The role requires proficiency in ACAD, NavisWorks, and Microsoft tools, as well as experience in project management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities :Review Transmittals and Drawings : Assess and review approximately 35 ideas and projects to ensure they meet project standards and requirements.Update Existing Drawings : Modify and update existing drawings based on redline revisions.Utilize Design Software : Proficient use of ACAD, NavisWorks, and Microsoft tools for drafting and design purposes.Project Work Duties :

Create Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications for design engineering projects.Review engineering proposals to ensure they meet project criteria.Collaborate closely with the project manager and various stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.Support and coordinate construction and commissioning activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.Follow the CIPM (Certified International Project Manager) methodology for effective project management.

Documentation Management : Upload and review Bill of Materials (BOM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, spare parts lists, manuals, drawings, and other relevant documents in SAP.

Qualifications :Proven experience as a Designer Drafter, specifically in mechanical and electrical drawings.Proficiency in ACAD, NavisWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, particularly CIPM.Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers and stakeholders.Experience with SAP for document and inventory management is preferred.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
