What you'll do:

Assist in creating and implementing the Membership Marketing Plan, with a focus on growth, retention, cross-selling/upselling, product optimization, and upgrade campaigns to attract new guests.Supervise the daily management and internal communication of the yearly promotion plan to align with the strategies outlined in the marketing plan. This includes creating and sharing promotion and event summary briefs.Research new products and assess how well they meet guest needs.Monitor and assess data related to various ticket types and their distribution, encompassing discounted tickets, different discount levels, membership fees, and discount rates.Suggest adjustments in strategies and tactics as needed to achieve financial plan goals.Identify, obtain, and oversee partnerships/promotions to expand media reach and frequency, aiding the annual media purchase.Execute revenue-driving events for the Aquarium.Act as key liaison with corporate sponsors to manage contractual deliverables and deliver value.Maintain a thorough understanding of the department budget and resources allocated to the marketing function.Prepare competitive analysis on a semi-annual basis (product offerings and price points, new market entrants & general climate)Assist in conducting pre-event updates and post-event analysis of promotions and special events.Work with the marketing team to brainstorm new marketing ideas (e.g., content, programs, etc.).Collaborate and assist in special event development and programming (e.g., Shark Summer, Mermaids, etc.).Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring:

BA in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field; preferred3+ years' experience in a promotions and/or membership role; strongly preferred experience in attractions, museums, sports, music, or relevant fields.Knowledge of brand strategy, guest satisfaction, product management, and new product development; knowledge of ticket mix and ticket management; preferred.Hands-on experience in the development, management, and activation of special eventspreferred.Highly motivated, results-oriented, creative thinker.Capable of working independently yet collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.Demonstrates strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Capable of multitasking effectively while upholding clear and proactive communication.Takes ownership of tasks and ensures a smooth flow of work.Strong communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal teams andexternal stakeholders and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.Ability to deliver on creative vision with a good artistic eye and ability to give direction and feedback. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, etc.) preferred.Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.Ability to manage flexible work hour requirements, including nights and weekends.
