Job Title : Assistant, Creative Services & Event Presentation

Reports to : Manager, Creative Services & Event Presentation

Status : Part-Time (30 hours/week during hockey season)

The Top Shelf:

This part-time position will work in tandem with the Creative Services and Event Presentation Manager to produce video and animation content for the IceHogs on the in-arena video board, ribbon board display panels and for use in social media and marketing platforms. This position will work approximately 30 hours a week during the hockey season (September-April) and would work either in our offices in Rockford, IL, or on-location when necessary and be a member of the weekly all-staff meetings. There could also be game night responsibilities for this position. Ideal candidate has demonstrative success in video production and would have at least 1 year of experience working in a television, agency or other related field and can work independently or in cooperation with others. Skills needed include knowledge of video lighting, properly set up video and audio equipment, create motion graphics, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Demo reel is required. Sports video production experience not required by highly recommended.

How You'll Contribute:Provide video production, motion graphics and still graphic design support for the departmentAttend weekly department and all-staff meetings either in-person or virtuallyBe available to assist with event presentation and/or creative services duties on gamedaysAssist in the maintenance of video equipment and props in the department

Player Stats and Qualifications:Experience shooting video both in-studio and on-locationWorking knowledge of field production, including lighting and audioStrong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and After EffectsMust have a resume reel of your video work that highlights your skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeMust be able to commit to the entire Rockford IceHogs 2022-23 season - including attending preseason meetings and training sessions, working all 36 regular-season home games and playoff games. Availability for game days is a must. The Rockford IceHogs, founded in 1999 and members of the American Hockey League (AHL), is a premier organization and primary development affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Located in Rockford, IL, the Team calls the newly renovated BMO Center its home.
