Position Description:

We're looking for a strategic, creative, and agile media pro to join the Media team at the Sterling-Rice Group (SRG) as a

Digital Media Supervisor .

With a client list that includes Fortune 500 companies and small start-ups that span food and beverage manufacturers, restaurants, and commodity boards, as well as lifestyle brands, health and wellness companies, and personal care manufacturers, we can assure you that you won't get bored.

The Digital Media Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, optimizing, and reporting on digital media campaigns for various clients, spanning both B2B and B2C. The ideal candidate has extensive digital media knowledge, strong communication skills, and a willingness to be accountable for client needs. They should have experience with comfortably planning and executing media plans without immediate, direct oversight.

Responsibilities:Lead digital media planning & ensure flawless plan execution:

Take ownership of media planning, negotiation, implementation, and reporting for specific brands.Work in tandem with traditional planners and paid social team to craft full media plan recommendations.Request proposals from media vendor partners and lead evaluation and recommendations.Present recommendations to internal teams and clients.Manage negotiations and foster strong relationships with media vendors and agency partners.Work closely with Account, Creative, Production, and Ad Operations teams to align on key campaign elements pre-planning (e.g., creative vision and assets) as well as campaign execution (e.g., tag implementation).Oversee campaign performance to ensure delivery against key success metrics. Provide optimization recommendations and insights to clients.

Actively participate in media financial management:

Manage annual digital budgets working closely with other Media Team members, Account and Accounting teams.Act as final resource for all inventory, billing and invoice discrepancies.

Practice high-quality, ongoing external relations with key stakeholders:

Respond to and meet with media vendors to review new media opportunities/proposals.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Client business from both a current situation and historical perspective.

Leadership:

Demonstrate initiative by researching and identifying new media platforms, partners, etc. Share POVs with the broader team when appropriate.Bring forward ideas for process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility and efficiency.Mentor and train junior team members to ensure growth and development.Serve as an SRG ambassador and demonstrate grace in challenging internal/external scenarios.Expected to take part in larger areas of agency development - aiding with new business pitches, committees and task forces.

Desired Skills + Requirements:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityAt least four years of Digital Media planning and buying experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to craft succinct recommendations with clear and concise writing. Can comfortably present with confidence, maturity and intrigueStrong mathematical fundamentals, comfortable working with dataExcellent understanding of fundamental media tools: Excel (advanced proficiency with vlookups, pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint, billing software, planning/buying software, reporting toolsPreferred experience with the following media systems: Google Campaign Manager, DoubleVerify, Google Analytics, Performance Marketing and Retail partnersExperience in B2C (and B2B a plus) across all digital landscapes programmatically and directStrong understanding of digital strategy across the funnel, from topline awareness and brand building to conversion and Performance Marketing.Experience in local and national media campaignsOrganizational skills to manage and prioritize team and client deliverable daily workflowStrong command of media research resources, capabilities and limitationsFamiliarity with offline media conceptsStrong degree of accuracy and attention to detailRoll-up your sleeves mentality, willing to do whatever work is required to deliver flawless execution and impactful programs to clientsProvides an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to media and client teams

Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
