What you’ll be doing

The Manager / Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will support the commercial organization and lead processes of varying complexity towards the achievement of its business goals. The Manager / Senior Manager of Marketing Operations supports all marketing activities and is a key conduit between the cross-functional partners. Activities will vary but will include, but not limited to, execution of peer-to-peer programs, strategic conference planning, and print and fulfillment. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will be remote

You will be responsible for…

● Lead all operational elements for the commercial team, such as printing and fulfillment, conference logistics, and peer-to-peer logistics.

● Oversee cross-franchise alignment, synergies and efficiencies, as well as performance and issue resolution

● Lead the execution of peer-to-peer activities, including but not limited to, 3rd party speaker programs and product theaters.

● Align franchise strategy and plans for congresses, including coordinating booth/exhibit (e.g. solidifying space, organizing cross-functional planning meetings, collaborating with brand teams on media opportunities, etc.)

● Handle all logistical arrangements with congress venues, including managing travel & accommodation for all company representatives

● Manage the process for local conferences

● Manage cross-franchise portfolio of promotional material inventory and fulfillment, including label updates.

● Oversee and manage vendors

● Assist in contracting needs for the marketing team, inclusive of vendors and HCP contracts as needed

● Assist in advisory board logistics as needed

● Negotiate contracts with third party vendors to ensure quality services

● Facilitate status calls, communication best practices, performance surveys/discussions, etc.

● Manage and approve expenditures within budget guidelines

What Knowledge & Experience you'll bring to us...

● Bachelor's Degree in the field of life sciences or business

● 2+ years of proven work experience in pharmaceutical industry or highly matrix-ed organization

● Experience working with field forces and/or sales experience

● Experience in operations or project management

● Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency

● Superb teamwork and collaboration and communication skills

● Launch experience desired, but not mandatory

● Strong problem-solving ability through insightful solutions which address complex issues

● Exhibit high capability of working collaboratively

● Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

● Experience in managing external agencies and vendors and managing budgets

● Proven successful project management skills; strict attention to detail

● Drive and enthusiasm for operational improvements and proven innovation-oriented mindset

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload independently

The pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
