Building the best guide to the Internet (and the world) requires building the best team.A little about you:As a member of the News Mobile Engineering group, you will build high performance, scalable, accessible and elegant mobile applications.You will also build the next generation applications for mobile devices with an emphasis on emotional experiences and constant attention to performance, accessibility and user delights; work with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Architects, to build amazing and emotional experiences for Yahoo users; focus on enabling best customer experiences, and partner with the Product and Design team to redesign and implement user interfaces.Responsibilities:
Work on the News and Weather iOS apps features and maintenance. All new code is almost exclusively Swift, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, Combine, and other goodies!Review your peers' codeParticipate in monitoring of the apps in productionParticipate in team organization through standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives
Qualifications:
3 years experience with iOS developmentExperience with adjacent mobile technologies like telemetry, crash reporting, performance optimization, UI/UX design systems, etc.
