Primary Function:

This entry-level position (known internally as a Research Analyst) is responsible for applying for and maintaining regulatory reporting for State Authorization, National Student Clearinghouse and Veteran Schedule/Catalog. To maintain compliance in these fields the individual will be required to researching, interpreting, and adhering to each regulatory reporting requirement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reviews, applies for, and maintains state authorization.Submits regulatory reporting in assigned timelines.Maintains and updates all communications tools and depository folders with regulatory reporting, applications, supporting documentation, research, future pending actions, quality assurance findings, etc.Maintains student records in NSC after researching and resolving identified discrepancies.Monitors and conducts research to stay current with rules, regulations, definitions, policies and procedures.Works with stakeholders on the phone, in person, by mail and by email to ensure timely response to questions.Supports preparation activities for the Commencement Ceremony.

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree Business Administration or related field preferred.Minimum of one (1) year of technical experience, Analytical / research background preferred.Ability to navigate source research sites such as: NSC, NSLDS, State Higher Education Executive Officers Association, State Portal Agencies, and National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.Demonstrated ability to interpret analytic output and provide strategic recommendations.Ability to read and interpret regulations.Experience with CRM, Campus Solutions preferred.Excellent customer service orientation with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.Strong problem solving skills, and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills..Tact and strong verbal communication skills needed to facilitate resolve problems.Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Explorer).

Working Conditions:Works with critical deadlines, i.e., often under stress.Works in typical office setting.
